01. First open up your image by going to File » Open

02. Next go up to Layer » Duplicate Layer

03. Leave setting as they are and just click OK

04. Now go down to your layers pallet and change the duplicate’s mode to Soft Light

05. Finally you can now merge both layers or flatten your image by going to Layer » Flatten Image 

Now you can continue to edit your image or simply save it by going to File » Save As
